The Mosque Project
The Marlboro Muslim Community has long called Marlboro home, yet we’ve consistently traveled 20+ minutes to neighboring towns for daily and Friday prayers. In 2021, we set out with a clear goal: to establish a permanent house of worship right here in Marlboro. Our vision is to create a welcoming spiritual and social hub where neighbors, families, and friends can come together to pray, learn, and strengthen our community bonds for generations to come. We are actively pursuing zoning approval to turn this vision into reality. In the meantime, our community gathers for Friday prayers—and for Taraweeh during Ramadan—at a temporary space in the Morganville Firehouse (78 Tennent Rd).
